This is the website for Hathersage Players – pleased to see you. Hathersage Players are based in the village of Hathersage in the Hope Valley; part of Derbyshire’s Peak District. We are an amateur theatrical group committed to presenting three productions each year; we present a variety of plays in May and October, and a pantomime for every February. As well as plays, we host occasional one-off events such as our recent celebration of Shakespeare’s 450th birthday, and a performed reading of Under Milk Wood to mark the centenary of the birth of Dylan Thomas. We are involved in our community too, giving to local charities and good causes.
