A Midsummer Night’s Dream

22nd - 27th June 2021

(by William Shakespeare; directed by Pat McLoughlin, Rob Hall and Val Robinson)

The disappointment of having to postpone our indoor/outdoor production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Summer 2020 is now fully matched and more by the promise that we will be able to perform in Summer 2021.

We will perform:

- Indoors (’in the round’ to a COVID-safe reduced capacity) in the evenings (7:00pm) of Tuesday 22nd June to Thursday 24th, and then,

- Outdoors in the gardens of Hathersage Hall for matinees (1:30pm) on Saturday 26th June and Sunday 27th and in the evening (7:00pm) on Sunday 27th.

We can offer a wonderful, enthusiastic cast who would love to bring Shakespeare to life for you, whether you are a novice or an expert.

(All of these dates fall after the proposed Stage 4 date for the lifting of limits on social contact. The Players use of the Memorial Hall is with the full agreement of the vaccination centre and has been scheduled to be in no way to the detriment of the vaccination programme.)
